Introduction to practical hacking and penetration testing

My name is Ahmad Hilman Prasetya and this is my second review of the task(ulasan 2). This time i will discuss about “Introduction to practical hacking and penetration testing" explained in a video by eli the computer guy with a duration of 48 minutes 28 seconds. The video can be found https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DC3BgB1vNc

In computer networking, hacking is any technical effort to manipulate the normal behavior of network connections and connected systems. A hacker is any person engaged in hacking. And what eli suggest is being in the hack club has one very important rule that is “Don’t talk about hack club”.  There are reasons why people trying to hack others, and the most legimated reasons to hack and yet the dumbest one is to regaining access to Systems that owners have locked themselves, Then the second legimated reasons is demonstrating security vulnerabilities to Owners so that they can make educated decisions about their systems security requirements.

If you say you wanna be a hacker, first you have to have the basic solid understanding of linux and TCP/IP Networking, because 98% of the hacking stuff is build for the linux environment since it’s free and open source. You should be able to comfortably use the Linux CLI and be able to troubleshoot problems.

When you gonna be start doing hacking, it is reminded that you should be attacking your own system or you have been given permitted permission, because remember if you start learning hacking and hack others systems you can run into a lot of problems like terms of service then your service can be terminated because they think you are dangerous. Then maybe you could cause a civil law that can be sued for damages. And last is you can get a criminal law where you can really go to jail because of this. So be very careful doing thing such hacking.

So in conclusion is you should be careful with hacking, if you are new to this things please do this on your own system and don’t try it on other first because you can get to problems. So from the video it is suggested that you do not install "hacking" utilities onto computers that you use for other purposes, then use an isolated network and computer to perform hacking tests and last “Don’t talk about hack club”.

Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Introduction

Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Introduction

My name is Ahmad Hilman Prasetya and this is my first review of the task(ulasan 1). This time i will discuss about "Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Introduction" explained in a video by eli the computer guy with a duration of 45 minutes 26 seconds. The video can be found https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGryoLpCA7M

Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure is when your local infrastructure and your cloud infrastructure create a seamless network. As an administrator you no longer view cloud and local as unique infrastructure, but rather as a single network map. So basically it uses a mix of on-premises, private cloud and third-party, public cloud services with orchestration between the two platforms. By allowing workloads to move between private and public clouds as computing needs and costs change, hybrid cloud gives businesses greater flexibility and more data deployment options.

What makes a hybrid cloud infrastructure

Both Virtualization and Web Services offered
Ability to control virtual network
Ability to robustly connect to local network
AD Connector

There are 3 major player who provides hybrid cloud infrastructure, first is Amazon Web Services(AWS) then Microsoft Azure and last is VMware. Each of them have their own speciality, so AWS good in certain thing Mcazure too and VMware too. If you are looking to invested in microsoft go buy McAzure because they are known good, if your company is like a web service that got a lot weird cloudy things, better buy AWS because they are very focusing in SoS. VMware is very good for being platform agnostic.

Security Concerns for migrating to the cloud

Any server connected to a network that is connected to the Internet is on the "cloud"
Local network is vulnerable to physical damage and attack
Your admin probably is not doing their job as a far as security goes

So in the end is there is not much a down side of hybrid cloud infrastructure, what really concerned is you really have to think what you're doing like chasing the right hybrid cloud infrastructure AWS, Mcazure or VMware because they have their own speciality. and last is how you design the architecture.
